A Band 5 RN opportunity has become available within the Investigation and Treatment Room (ITR) at the Royal Northern Infirmary beside the River Ness. The ITR is a busy clinic performing investigations pre and post medical and surgical treatments. The clinic is a busy environment seeing over 1800 patients a month, clinic hours are 08:30-16:30hrs. We are looking for a dynamic positive RN who can work under pressure whilst maintain a clinic and supervising SHCSW on shift when required.

Skills required:

  • wound assessment and treatment
  • the ability to supervise and support SHCSW working in the ITR unit
  • the ability to liaise with teams at Raigmore to problem solve patients conditions and required tests
  • familiarisation with NHS Highlands computer systems, formstream, trackcare, SIC store
  • Please note a current UK NMC registration is required for this role, please do not apply if you do not have this.
