As a registered nurse, the post holder is responsible for ensuring the effective running of the department in the absence of the Junior Sister. They will supervise the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care during their span of duty.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for patient care, safety and quality within a busy Outpatient setting.
Responsible for Providing direct nursing care and supervising junior staff in the delivery of care.
Works alongside medical team, other members of MDT and will oversee the daily running of the department in the absence of Junior Sister.
