Registration & Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration (Part 1 Adult/General Level 1 or 2) with no restrictions
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent
Desirable
- Further post graduate qualification in a related speciality
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Evidence of working within a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures as a qualified nurse
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Able to work effectively as a member a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently
- Able to use reflective practice, to continuously improve the standard of patient care
- Proven post-registration experience
Desirable
- Awareness of ED political agenda and how their role as an RN will contribute to achieving targets / quality indicators.
- Evidence of involvement in teaching and mentoring learners
