Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Stroke Services Team as a SSNAP Stroke Data Administrator at Musgrove Park Hospital working 30 hours per week Monday - Friday.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the collection, validation and submission of stroke patient data to the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP). Working closely with clinical and administrative staff, you will ensure that data is accurately recorded, maintained and submitted within agreed deadlines, contributing to national audit requirements and service improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent data entry skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
Main duties of the job
Accurately input patient information into the SSNAP database and associated systems.
Validate and quality-check data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Liaise with clinical teams to obtain missing information and resolve data discrepancies.
Maintain electronic records in accordance with Trust policies and data protection requirements.
Produce routine reports and assist with audit data requests.
Monitor outstanding records and ensure submission deadlines are met.
Support the Stroke Team in achieving high standards of data quality and performance monitoring.
Contribute to service improvement by identifying data quality issues and recommending solutions.
