Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapies team, assessing a young person in York.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver specialist speech and language therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping a young person with complex communication needs to develop functional communication skills, increase independence and thrive within their educational environment.
Main duties of the job
Deliver 3 hour initial assessment with report (non EHCNA
Promote an inclusive approach
Focus on meaningful, functional outcomes that improve participation and independence
Maintain accurate clinical records, liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team and produce report as required
