Main duties of the job
Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT) is currently recruiting Specialty Doctors to join our well-established, multi-disciplinary teams across a number of services in Adult and Older Adult Mental Health. These positions offer a fantastic opportunity to work under the supervision of experienced Consultant Psychiatrists while contributing to the delivery of holistic, patient-centred care.
Vacancies are available in various teams (Dudley, Walsall, Sandwell and Wolverhampton) across the Trust Older Adult Division, each committed to supporting your continued professional development within a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are a teaching Trust, teaching undergraduates from Birmingham Medical Schools, St Georges Grenada, and are also part of the Black Country training scheme with core and higher specialist trainees from the West Midlands School of Psychiatry. We have a good record of encouraging and supporting specialty doctors if their aim is to achieve postgraduate exams and go on to Higher Specialist Training. There are good opportunities for applicants interested in education and research. Specialty Doctors will cover on average 1:11 out of hours second on-call rota.
