Job overview
Applications are invited to apply for the position of Specialty Doctor in Plastic Surgery.
The department consists of four consultant staff specialising in skin, hand and breast surgery. The department also includes a well-established, purpose-built Laser Treatment Centre providing services to the whole of east Anglia including the Cambridge and Norwich teaching hospitals, and provides unrivalled experience in this sub-speciality. The department enjoys close relationships with the department of dermatology.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical services in plastic and hand surgery, with a special focus on day case and minor surgery.
Applicants must hold MRCS or an equivalent qualification, and possess a minimum of at least 4 years’ full time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part time basis) at least two of which will be in the Plastic Surgery specialty at time of interview.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
