Specialty Doctor, General Adult Inpatients – Blackpool (10 PA)
We are excited to advertise this full time (10 PA) Specialty Doctor post in General Adult Psychiatry to work on our Inpatient wards at The Harbour, Blackpool.
The post is full time 10PA (40 hours) per week and substantive.
Please note - as this is an inpatient role, it is an essential criteria to be section 12 approved or be eligible for section 12 approval within 3 months of commencement (i.e. 4 years of experience in Psychiatry including 8-12 months UK psychiatry experience).
Main duties of the job
The main duty of this post is to provide medical input to the General Adult wards, which will include direct care as well as advice/consultancy for other members of the team. You will be supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist.
