This is a 10 PA post: 8.5 Direct Clinical Care (DCC) and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPA). The Trust can provide a Certificate of Sponsorship for Tier 2 visa applicants, and overseas EM experience will be recognised when determining the starting point on the Specialty Doctor pay scale.

Successful applicants may join a structured CESR programme, which includes tailored development plans, rotations in key acute specialties (Critical Care, Anaesthetics, Acute Medicine, Paediatrics), and mentorship from CESR-qualified consultants. Participation is optional for candidates choosing to pursue training routes instead.
Following the merger of Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch Hospitals, UHD now operates Emergency Departments on both main sites.
