We are seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join us working across our Pre-School Complex Needs and schools teams within the Central locality.
This is an exciting opportunity to build on your Band 5 or Band 6 clinical experience and become part of the Speech and Language Therapy team based within our Child Development Centres and schools. You will manage a varied clinical caseload, carrying out assessments and reviews, delivering therapy, and providing advice, support and training to parents, carers, teachers and other professionals. The role will involve working across different clinic bases/school settings throughout the week.
As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will be supported by experienced and approachable Clinical Leads, alongside friendly and knowledgeable colleagues within and the wider Speech and Language Therapy service. You will also benefit from a well-established supervision programme, opportunities for CPD and access to a range of learning and development opportunities to support your ongoing career progression.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, providing assessment, therapy, advice and training as required, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Speech and Language Therapy Assistants. An ability to develop strong working relationships with education, health and early years professionals is essential.
