Main duties of the job

This role requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to upholding high standards through evidence-based practice, rigorous record-keeping, and adherence to clinical governance frameworks. Essential skills include effective, empathetic communication across diverse audiences, collaborative teamwork, and adaptability within a multidisciplinary environment. A good understanding of respiratory care and current evidence based best practice guidelines is essential to this role.

The successful candidate will be required to manage their own caseload within the team, with support from the senior respiratory nurse.

We are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services for the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. We also provide low and medium secure services and are the lead for the west Yorkshire secure provider collaborative.
