Specialist Radiographer | MRI & CT | Imaging | Spire Dunedin Hospital | Private Hospital | Permanent | Full Time | Reading

Spire Dunedin Hospital is looking for an experienced and dedicated Specialist Radiographer to join our dynamic team.

Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, 16 inpatient beds, three recovery bays, Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing highly skilled and specialised MRI / CT imaging.
  • Able to adapt imaging techniques to accommodate protocols from a range of referral sources.
  • Polite and effective communication skills working as part of a small team.
  • Ability to recognise significant pathology and direct patients accordingly.
  • Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work, including completion of Spire Mandatory e-learning modules.

Key Requirements:

  • You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Cannulation and IV drug administration training desirable but not essential.
  • You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
  • Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
  • Post graduate certificate in MRI / CT is desirable, but not essential.
