AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot can be great for planning and preparing your application—but your answers must be your own.

  • Show us the real you: Your application should reflect your skills, experience, and motivations authentically.
  • Use AI wisely: It’s fine to use AI for ideas or to check spelling and grammar, but don’t let it write your answers.
  • Why this matters: Applications that rely on AI-generated content may be withdrawn. By applying, you confirm your responses are based on your own knowledge and achievements.

Tip: Think of AI as a helper, not a substitute. We want to understand you—not an AI tool.

Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist – Enhanced Rehabilitation Team

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation and supporting people to achieve their maximum level of independence? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Enhanced Rehabilitation Team within the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP).

This service will provide intensive, home-based rehabilitation for individuals who would traditionally have received rehabilitation in an inpatient setting, enabling more people to recover and remain independent within their own homes. The service operates seven days a week and forms a key part of our commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care closer to home.

As a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, planning and delivering rehabilitation programmes for people with a wide range of medical conditions and complex rehabilitation needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist physiotherapy interventions, contribute to service development, and support the delivery of evidence-based practice across the service.

We are looking for an individual who is committed to collaborative working, demonstrates excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about delivering high-quality rehabilitation outcomes. You will have the opportunity to further develop your expertise in rehabilitation, quality improvement, leadership, and service innovation as part of this evolving service.

In return, EHSCP offers a supportive working environment with a strong commitment to personal and professional development, including access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities relevant to your role. Flexible working arrangements and secondment opportunities will be considered.
