Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist within Pelvic Health based at University Hospital Crosshouse. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours:
22.2 hours per week, working Monday-Friday.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving Licence:
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:
You will be responsible for managing your own clinical caseload of pelvic health and obstetric out-patients.
You will provide physiotherapy input to the maternity and gynaecology in patient wards as well as delivering various ante natal and post-natal education / exercise classes.
You will provide clinical and professional support to junior staff members as well as practice-based education for students.
Excellent communication, team working, organisational and time management skills are essential.
Have relevant clinical experience in pelvic health.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:
HCPC registration and Degree level qualification in Physiotherapy.
Notable experience working autonomously at a senior clinical level within physiotherapy
