Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical Trials (OHCT)Pharmacy Department at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT). The department manages Clinical Trials from early stage Phase I studies to Post license Phase IV studies; handling a range of molecules from Advanced Therapies to traditional formulations. The successful applicant will be working alongside a range of experienced leading researchers who run studies from our various research platforms. The post holder will be managing existing studies in line with Good Clinical Practice principles and working alongside our specialist set-up team delivering new studies.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will primarily focus on:
- Management of existing studies
- Managing Modifications
- Early stages feasibility
- Site Qualification support to the Sponsors
- Studies Set up
- Studies Initiation
- Studies maintenance, closing and archiving
- Dispensing and checking (ACPT if applicable)
- Invoicing
