Specialist Occupational Therapist - Specialist Eating Disorders service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join a specialised multi disciplinary team within the mental health service for eating disorders.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated suitably skilled individual with excellent communication skills, effective team working and a keen interest in service improvement.
Main duties of the job
Our service is currently undergoing a change in its delivery model and there will be extensive opportunities to engage with a service development initiative and to shape our service strategy within Occupational therapy and the wider mental health service.
You will work closely with other professions in the team and deliver holistic assessment/interventions to optimise function with individuals who are living with an eating disorder. Interventions are occupationally focused using a positive approach and management techniques, including fuctional, cognitive and sensory rehabilitation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
