An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist MSK Physiotherapist to join our Barnet MSK Physiotherapy Team at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH).

This is a permanent, full-time role , with a primary base in Barnet. The role will involve working across a number of CLCH clinics and sites within Barnet, providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

You will join a supportive and experienced MSK team, with opportunities to further develop your clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment skills while working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.

We’re looking for a motivated physiotherapist committed to excellent patient care, teamwork and developing specialist MSK skills.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 6 Specialist MSK Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Manage your own caseload, taking professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and ongoing management of patients in your care.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with a range of acute, chronic and complex MSK presentations, using strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans using evidence-based practice and appropriate treatment techniques.
  • Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care, supporting an inclusive and equitable service for all patients.
  • Recognise the limits of your practice and seek appropriate support through clinical supervision, senior colleagues and multidisciplinary discussions.
  • Work in accordance with professional standards, national guidance and Trust policies.
  • Communicate with compassion and sensitivity when supporting patients with complex physical, psychological or social needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and refer patients to appropriate services, including other physiotherapy specialties, Podiatry and Biomechanics.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary assessments where required to support coordinated patient care.
