Job overview

South Staffordshire CAMHS are developing our psychological professions workforce.  We are pleased to be able to recruit Family & Systemic Psychotherapist posts to each of our specialist CAMHS (Cannock and Seisdon).

Our multi-disciplinary Teams’ value Family Therapy and Systemic practice.  A key role for the post-holders will be to work alongside Systemic and Family Therapy trained colleagues and Professional Leads to support the ongoing development of systemic practice within community CAMHS.

We are also happy to receive enquiries from recently qualified Family Therapists seeking a Band 7-8a development post opportunity (minimum 0.54 WTE, 21.5 hours per week).

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidates will be:

  • Passionate about working with the children and young people seen in our community CAMHS services
  • Collaborative in their approach to working with children, young people, their families/carers and networks
  • Excited about the opportunity to contribute to service developments
  • Keen to maximise what Family Therapy and Systemic Practice can deliver whilst also working with, and recognising the strengths of, the multi-disciplinary team
  • A qualified SFP or Family Therapy Supervisor (or eligible and able to attend training)
