The Royal Hospital for Children & Young People (RHCYP) is a tertiary paediatric hospital providing specialist services to Lothian and across Scotland. The Department of Dietetics provides services across the care continuum supporting local, regional as well as national paediatric services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 dietitian to join our team. This post will primarily support our PGHAN service at RHCYP. In addition to specialty areas as required. It will include support to both acute and clinic commitments at RHCYP. There is also a requirement to support outpatient and community-based care across Lothian
In addition to a specialist clinical caseload, the post holder will be expected to support core tasks across the paediatric dietetic team. This includes the management of junior members of staff, supporting a general paediatric outpatient caseload, cross-cover for other paediatric specialities as required, and participation in student training (A, B & C placements).
