Working within a small multi-disciplinary team, the chosen applicant will help maintain the electrical infrastructure at one of the Top 10 Hospital Trusts in the U.K.

Main duties of the job
- Candidates must be professional in all aspects with a desire to develop and improve. If successful they will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing a wide range of duties covering all aspects of Electrical maintenance and installation.
- Candidates must have a positive customer focused attitude with a desire to improve and undertake condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports.
- Candidates must have completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship, be self-motivated with a desire to develop new skills and flexible to meet the demands of a large acute hospital.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To install, maintain, service and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant and infrastructure.
- Provides technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Act in the role of Competent Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum, for the Electrical Distribution (LV) system.
- Undertakes condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports.
