Specialist Cardiac Physiologist Band 6

Applications are invited for a highly motivated individual to join the Cardiology team as a B6 Specialist Cardiac Physiologist working predominantly at Purley War Memorial Hospital with some days at Croydon Hospital which are part of Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. This is a very busy and demanding role and the successful candidate should have previous experience of working in a Cardiology department.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the successful candidate will be to perform non-invasive Cardiology diagnostic procedures e.g. perform Ambulatory ECG/ Blood Pressure Monitors with analysis, work in the Cath lab for Angio/ PCI procedures. Training to work towards British Society of Echocardiography or British Heart Rhythm Society Accreditation if not already held.
