Based primarily at St James's University Hospital, Leeds, this Specialist Biomedical Scientist role sits within a large, highly specialised Cellular Pathology service, supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services for a diverse range of patients across the region. Applicants should have practical experience of Cellular Pathology laboratory techniques to specialist BMS level, a commitment to quality, and a passion for delivering excellence in patient care. You will participate as required in BMS duties within reception, cut-up, main lab, further work, molecular, Non-cervical cytology and specialist histology areas of the department. This will also involve QC and EQA authorisation, training, risk and incident assessment and investigation and HR procedures.
