Job overview

The post holder will be a qualified Cardiac Physiologist required to work as an independent practitioner, to work unsupervised in both invasive and non-invasive areas, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will be required to undertake specialised cardiac physiological tests and procedures on both in patients and out patients, compiling clinical reports and advising clinicians.

The post holder will be provided the opportunity to specialise in echocardiography and supported towards gaining the British Society of Echocardiography professional accreditation.

Main duties of the job

To perform a range of non-invasive and invasive investigations performed within the Cardiology Department at Scunthorpe and Goole Hospital, Scunthorpe Community Diagnostics Centre and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby.
