We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists at band 7 to join our team in Aberdeen City.

Band 7; 18 hours - Neuro Home Link Team, Woodend Hospital

The Neuro Home Link (NHL) Team is a multidisciplinary team including AHPs and neuro psychologist. The team supports patients with acquired neurological impairments as part of their transition back to independent or supported living. There are ongoing developments within the neuro service at present making it an exciting time to join the team.

In this B7 role, as the SLT within the NHL team you will pay a key part in delivering transitional services within the neuro pathway. You will have the support of senior SLTs within the neuro pathway and may be required to oversee the work of generic Health Care Support Workers to deliver individualised therapy plans in line with team goals, which are set in collaboration with the patient and their families.

This post is based within the Aberdeen Health and Social Care partnership Adult SLT team. An established supervision structure is in place for all team members. The successful applicant will be a car driver. Dysphagia training/experience is also desirable.
