Part-time Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist, community physiotherapy. Based at the City Hospital, Aberdeen.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to be part of the community physiotherapy team. This post will be working alongside other MDT member in the Community, delivering advanced Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the patients of Aberdeen City within their own homes, community rehabilitation settings.

The post holder will be part of the senior Physiotherapy team within Community & Intermediate Care and will be involved with pathway working and service development for this group of patients as well as supporting other community initiatives. The post holder will supervise and support a team of staff including support workers and students and be expected to work well in a multi- disciplinary and multi – agency environment.

The physiotherapy service has an active in-service training programme and aims to support relevant continuing professional development for the successful candidate.

NHS Grampian physiotherapy teams cover the North East of Scotland serving a region from the Cairngorms to the North Sea including Coastal Moray and Aberdeenshire. Aberdeen Royal Infirmary houses all clinical specialties with the exception of organ transplant and paediatric ICU. NHS Grampian provides healthcare for a population of 540,000 with around 40% living within Aberdeen and the remaining 60% in Aberdeenshire and Moray.

NHS Grampian provides the perfect solution to all interests and lifestyles. Aberdeen has a very buoyant economy and offers all the attractions of any major city. Aberdeenshire boasts many picturesque towns and villages within easy commuting distance and provides access to a large range of outdoor pursuits including skiing. Assistance with relocation may be available. All applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
