Essential for the role – Social WorkerApplicants must hold a Degree in Social Work and be currently registered with Social Work England, with completion of the ASYE or equivalent post-qualifying experience. They should have experience managing a caseload independently and undertaking assessments, risk management, safeguarding enquiries, and care planning, as well as working with multi-agency partners. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policy is required, along with the ability to manage complex cases under appropriate supervision. Candidates must also demonstrate strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills, alongside the ability to produce professional reports and maintain accurate records.

We provide a medium-secure care setting in which patients access a broad range of therapeutic interventions including one-to-one and group-based psychological treatments. Our service has produced excellent recovery results for patients, maximising their opportunity to progress to conditions of lower-security as safely and efficiently as possible.The hospital is split across nine wards, providing care for up to 112 male and female patients with a broad range of diagnoses including PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disability, mental illness, and personality disorder. FTE Salary : £44,166Part Time - 19 hoursPriory Hospital Stockton Hall has an opportunity for a Social Worker to join our team. This role is offered on a Part Time basis working 19 hours per week, flexibility available. The salary range pro rata for this role is between £32,734 - £41,463.Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended
What you'll be doing
- To provide expertise and leadership in Safeguarding.
- To bring clear focus on the rights of all service users and their families, including the ability to investigate, evaluate and learn from allegations to improve safety, dignity and compassion within the unit.
- To work as part of the Multi- disciplinary Team focusing on prevention, early intervention, building resilience and self-care, reducing and delaying dependency.
