Job summary

Join Ward J50 within Abdominal Medicine and Surgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where you will play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to Nephrology and Transplant patients. Based at St Jamess Hospital, this role sits within a large and complex CSU, supporting both the multidisciplinary team and the day to day running of a 20-bedded Female inpatient ward. You will be actively involved in a wide range of patient care duties, contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of care, while helping to maintain a safe and effective clinical environment.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about patient-centred care and able to lead and support colleagues within a busy ward setting. You will demonstrate strong clinical skills, initiative and the ability to work collaboratively, while also deputising for the Senior Sister when required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to maintaining high standards, contributing to service improvement and making a meaningful difference to patient experience within a specialist renal and transplant service.
