We are looking for a dynamic Nurse with leadership skills to work in our team. Supporting the whole team to deliver high quality patient care through well led and well managed clinical activity.
Good interpersonal skills required to lead and support the team, and undertake a wide range of administrative duties in tandem with clinical activities.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will hold a strong set of clinical skills with Urology experience. Good IT skills needed for managing healthroster, undertaking appraisals, monitoring training and day to day management duties (handling Datix, writing SOPS, Risk Assessments). Supporting Matron to plan and deliver a wide range of clinical activity and trouble shoot/problem solve to maintain safe, effective service delivery. Clinical duties will include catheter clinic, flow clinic , teaching intermittent self catheterisation, intravesical therapies, supporting clinicians undertake flexible cystoscopy and prostate biopsies plus a wide range of other activities. Supporting junior staff and the clerical team. Training will be provided to develop the skills.
