Job summary

Job Summary Are you driven, motivated, and passionate about delivering the highest level of care? Are you a compassionate leader with the experience, skills, and desire to inspire and motivate others in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment? If so, we would love for you to apply to join our wonderful team on J19 SIM (Specialty Integrated Medicine). J19 cares for patients aged 75 and over who are admitted directly from the Emergency Department. The ward is responsible for initiating treatment and delivering early care. Patients typically remain on J19 for a short period usually no more than a few days before being discharged or transferred to a longer-stay ward. This high patient turnover makes J19 a busy and fast-paced unit, supported by a hardworking and collaborative team that takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care. We are immensely proud of the standard of care we provide and are seeking a highly skilled Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team, caring for our older adult population in Leeds. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who can empower and lead a team while maintaining a strong patient-centred focus. The successful candidate will coordinate clinical shifts, support the Band 7 in staff management, and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. A commitment to personal and professional development is essential.
