Sewing Room Assistant
Based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI)
Mile End Laundry Building
An opportunity has arisen for a Sewing Room Assistant to join our dedicated team within the Sewing Room at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
We are looking for an individual with proven sewing experience and an awareness of procedures relating to hospital linen and uniforms. Working as part of a small team, you will play a key role in delivering an essential service across NHS Grampian.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tailoring staff uniforms.
- Repairing hospital linen and textile items.
- Supporting linen recycling initiatives.
- Maintaining quality standards and following relevant procedures.
This post is for 30 hours per week, worked over 5 days, with flexibility to meet the requirements of the service.
