We are recruiting for an Operating Department Practitioner or Anaesthetic Nurse to our multidisciplinary team who wishes to join our team. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care.
Our service consists of 4 Main theatre, 2 Day surgery theatres, 1 ophthalmology theatre and 1 Maternity theatre. We can provide experience in a number of surgical specialities including:
General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Gynaecology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Urology, Emergency Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology.
We are looking to appoint to permanent positions.
Main duties of the job
- Registration: Qualified Theatre Practitioner (Nurse or ODP).
- Certification: You must either currently hold the Surgical First Assistant (SFA) qualification and be competent in the role, or be willing and able to undertake and successfully complete an accredited SFA training module if appointed
- Experience: At least 6 months’ recent UK hospital experience.
- Bonus: Prior experience in Obstetrics/Gynae procedures is highly desirable.
