Alongside supporting the individuals, youll also provide day-to-day guidance and leadership to the staff teams across both serviceshelping to coordinate shifts, maintain high standards of care, and ensure services run smoothly, safely, and in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. Main duties of the job
As a Senior Support Worker at Enable in Grantham, you will deliver and oversee high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Your role will involve promoting independence, choice, and inclusion while providing person-centered support tailored to individual goals and preferences. In addition to supporting individuals, you will offer day-to-day guidance and leadership to staff teams, coordinating shifts and maintaining high standards of care. This position requires a hands-on approach as well as leadership and administrative responsibilities. Working across two supported living services in the Bourne area, you will ensure continuity of care and high-quality support by collaborating with families, carers, and external professionals. Your primary duties will include promoting daily living skills, effective communication, and a person-centered approach. As part of the role, you will encourage participation in community activities, support personal care, and help with meal planning and budgeting while adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements. A proactive, positive attitude is essential.

Youll also work closely with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support, while providing reassurance and clear communication.
Where youll be working:This full-time role is based across two supported living services in the Bourne area.Youll combine shift-based support with dedicated time for leadership and administrative duties, requiring flexibility to work across both locations to support staff teams, maintain high standards, and ensure continuity of care.
