Senior Support Worker Full Time - 40 Salary - £14.25phr St Brannocks is located in New Romney, Kent. The residential service supports six males and females who have varied disabilities, including people who are on the autism spectrum. Our home is situated off a main road, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the town centre. Our team are dedicated to providing a safe and homely environment, where all the people we care for can make their own choices about the support they receive. We want to improve and positively impact on the lives of our residents.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care
  • Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation, and effective communication.
  • Ensure residents have person-centred plans in place and are supported to participate in meaningful activities.
  • Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
  • Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
  • Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management in accordance with policy.
  • Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with legislation.
  • Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice.
