The role will focus on ensuring high standards of patient care, safety and clinical effectiveness.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Main duties include:
- Clinical Governance & Patient Safety including compliance with infection control, medication safety and clinical policies. Leading root cause analysis, investigations or near misses. Monitoring audit results.
- Staff Training and development. Providing training and education and supporting students and allocating assessors/supervisors.
- Patient experience and Satisfaction. Gathering feedback. Leading patient- focused initiatives to improve the elective surgery experience.
- Data Management and Reporting. Collecting and analysing key performance indicators (KPI's) such as infection rates, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal standards.
