Senior Sister/Charge Nurse
Band 7 - 37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse position in our Emergency Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual that thrives in a fast paced environment who aspires to deliver high quality care within a team of innovative professionals where every individual’s contribution is valued.
This role comes at an exciting time, as we have transitioned into a new- state-of-art Emergency Department which is part of a large Emergency Village.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in Emergency Care. Your leadership will be essential in embedding new ways of working, supporting your team and delivering the best outcomes for patients.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership- Oversee the day-to-day running of the ED ensuring safe and efficient patient care and patient flow
Staff management- supervise, mentor and support nursing staff, fostering professional development
Patient Care- Ensure high standards of care, focusing on patient safety, dignity and experience
Service Development- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of emergency care services, adapting to evolving clinical needs
Collaboration- work closely with Doctors, allied health professionals and operations teams
Resource management- ensure appropriate use of staffing, equipment and facilities
