The Radiopharmacy unit is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our friendly and dynamic team in providing a high-quality radiopharmaceutical service. Previous experience in Radiopharmacy, Pharmacy Technical Services, Nuclear Medicine or Good Manufacturing Practice is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are seeking someone with the aptitude and willingness to learn, and we will support further training and future career development.

The prime function of the department is the preparation of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, in a safe and efficient manner according to Good Manufacturing Practice and National Standards.

Main duties of the job

Perform duties in Radiopharmacy to aid the safe and efficient preparation of radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapies indication for patients across the region.

• Perform general duties in Radiopharmacy. Primarily performing and maintaining a high level of hygiene in all areas of the Radiopharmacy, especially the GMP cleaning of the clean room.
• Help with transfer sanitisation of manufacturing materials into the clean room. Participate in manufacturing and preparing cleanroom gowns for laundry.
• Arrange the safe disposal of radioactive materials.
• Other duties to support a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the timely dispatch of radioactive products.
• To provide dispensing support and dispensing checks. Routine daily constancy checks of all dose calibrators. Top up of all blank labels.

All appointments with a start date on or after 1 October 2026 will be subject to a 12-week probationary period. This provides a structured and supportive period to help you settle into your role, with regular reviews and feedback.

As there is a 12-week probationary period, successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date. Immigration and Right to Work status will be discussed with successful candidates at conditional offer. CUH will not offer sponsorship to candidates that have applied for a fee waiver.
