Job responsibilities

Join Oaks Hospital as a Senior MRI Radiographer. Support junior staff, train students, and manage daily workload and patient queries.

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Proficiently use all equipment.
  • Supervise junior colleagues.
  • Ensure MRI safety per local rules.
  • Work within IRMER and HCPC guidelines.
  • Participate in audits and QA programs.
  • Support Clinical Lead Radiographers.
  • Ensure equipment safety and report faults.
  • Contribute to policy updates.
  • Comply with Ramsay Health policies.
  • Maintain records per requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rota.

Location: Outskirts of Colchester, free parking.

  • BSc in diagnostic radiography or equivalent.
  • 2+ years MRI experience.
  • Computer skills and RIS PACs experience.
  • Empathetic approach to patients and staff.
  • Proactive work attitude.
  • Deliver high-quality care with compassion.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
