We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The post will be primarily based at West Cornwall Hospital, with rotation to Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, and other community sites as required.
You will play a key role in delivering a safe, efficient, and high‑quality general radiography service, supporting patient care across acute and community settings.
Must have 2 years experience in the NHS.
Must have a minimum 2 years experience in a imaging setting.
Main duties of the job
Undertake a wide range of general X‑ray examinations Justify radiology referrals in line with IR(ME)R and NICE guidelines Ensure compliance with radiation protection and safety standards Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Support and supervise students, assistant practitioners, and junior staff Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service development Assist with the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
