Join Our Team as a Band 6 Physiotherapist in the "Active Together" Service Are you a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of cancer patients? "Active Together" is a pioneering pre-habilitation and rehabilitation service funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research committed to supporting individuals throughout their cancer journey and improving outcomes for cancer patients. We are seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team and contribute to improving patient outcomes through tailored physiotherapy interventions. You will:- Assess and deliver comprehensive physiotherapy programs tailored to the individual needs of cancer patients, taking into account their personal goals and treatment plans. - Provide expert guidance on physical activity and lifestyle modifications to support patients' physical and mental well-being - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. - Utilise evidence-based practices to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient interventions. - Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the "Active Together" service by participating in research and quality improvement projects. This services will form part of Care Group 4 encompassing Therapies & Dietetics where this services will be supported.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in rehabilitation who has excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate should be able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under pressure. To be successful you will:- Be a Band 6 Physiotherapist or an experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist, wanting a Band 6 opportunity, with a keen interest in the pre-habilitation and rehabilitation of patients.-Drive the development and implementation of a new service- Meet challenging targets and objectives- Be motivated to provide high quality care- Be a team player In return, the successful candidate will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. They will receive regular supervision and have an opportunity to gain further skills. There will be opportunities for professional development and developing your expertise within oncology pre-habilitation and rehabilitation.
