We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Lindholme, a Category C male adult prison based in Doncaster, with operational capacity of around 900.
Working as part of a really strong team, who all really supportive of each other, and work with all multi-disciplinary teams. Opportunity to practice and develop across the PPG pathway, bespoke management training offered and parking on-site.
Hours
27 hours a week, working 7.30am-5.30pm, 3 x 9 hr shifts. Will include no more than 2 weekends a month.
Salary
This position is part time, youll receive an annual salary up to £34,704.00 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support of the development of junior staff
- Oversea the administration and medicines management, working across our primary care and substance misuse wings
- Provide health promotion advice to our men in areas such as giving up smoking, hypertension, healthy living and other minor ailments

Qualifications required
- NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
- Current Line Management experience is essential
- Accuracy Checking Technician qualification - Desirable
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
- Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
