Job overview

This pivotal senior role positions you at the forefront of digital transformation and clinical pharmacy innovation within the Trust.  As Senior Pharmacy Technician for Digital, Improvement and Innovation, you’ll be instrumental in shaping how medicines are prescribed, supplied and administered through our electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) system.

You’ll combine system expertise with pharmacy leadership, managing day-to-day ePMA operations, optimising drug files, order sets and decision support, and ensuring the system underpins safe, effective patient care. Working closely with the Digital Team, Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team and wider Trust Digital Teams, you’ll act as a bridge between clinical services, digital programmes, and frontline users.

This is more than just a technical role: you’ll help set direction, champion service excellence, and support the Trust’s ambition to deliver safe, innovative and efficient medicines management. If you’re passionate about transforming care, leading improvement, and driving digital innovation, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
