We are seeking candidates with an interest in invoicing and ordering who have drive, initiative, enthusiasm and good communication skills to join our friendly and forward-thinking Pharmacy team at Sunderland Royal Hospital

The posts involve working alongside our invoicing assistant, procurement officer and senior technicians to provide excellent financial and stock management to help the Trust to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines.

Main duties of the job

An ability to work both in a team and independently is essential and it is vital that applicants understand the needs of patients and other staff members. Candidates must have effective time management skills, an ability to work within time constraints and be flexible to changing work routines.

The postholder will be processing orders and invoices for multiple sites in the trust and the Choice outpatient service. They will also support the medicines shortage process in the team ensuring the impact of any medicines shortage is minimised.

Previous experience of working in a hospital or community Pharmacy would also be desirable but it is not essential.
