We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our welcoming and highly skilled Older Peoples Mental Health (OPMH) team serving South Hams and West Devon, based at Totnes Hospital and Ivybridge.

Main duties of the job
This is a dynamic and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and complex caseload, including both organic and functional mental health presentations. You will be a key member of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively to meet the holistic mental health needs of the individuals we serve.
In this role, you will undertake comprehensive, person-centred assessments and work in partnership with patients and their families to develop and deliver tailored care and treatment plans. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will help empower individuals on their recovery journey.
You will also play an important leadership role within the team, providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and contributing to a culture of learning, support, and continuous improvement. As our service evolves, you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in shaping and developing new ways of working that enhance care delivery and outcomes for our community.
