Our Community Response Team is at the forefront of integrated care, continually developing and embedding new ways of working with trailblazing approaches that deliver high-quality, patient-centred care where it is needed most.

As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering this vision. We are seeking an inclusive and collaborative leader with the drive and energy to help deliver the NHS 10-Year Plan in partnership with colleagues across local authorities, primary care, NEAS and the voluntary sector. You will bring a strong understanding of community services and a proven ability to work across organisational boundaries, linking seamlessly with both external partners and acute teams.

Serving Northumberland and North Tyneside, this role spans diverse communities, from rural areas to those facing significant health inequalities You will be instrumental in ensuring equitable, high-quality care across, making a tangible difference to patient outcomes.

Main duties of the job

  • The Senior Manager will work in partnership, leading their specialist area towards the achievement of the overall strategic vision by pursuing best practice and implementing value for money.
  • The post holder will lead from the front through personal example, open commitment and clear action, valuing diversity, celebrating equality, involving and empowering people, encouraging innovation and promoting a clear customer focus and performance culture.
  • To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
