The post is  full time with  a 100 % Out of Hours on call commitment   with a  fixed term contract  for 12 months

This post is to cover activity on Multiple MFT Sites

Post holders will be expected to contribute to the MFT ENT emergency out-of-hours on call. If appointed, post holders would rotate periodically through ENT subspecialties as well as work across the MFT sites. Post holders are expected to work alongside colleagues to fulfil the contractual service requirements of the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Between 0800-1700 daily, you will work within the ENT team. Out-of-hours you will take part on the emergency on-call rota in a 1-10 . Your weekly timetable is designed to give you a range of experience, including clinic, theatre and on call. You will work with the team to co-ordinate patient care and will be responsible for the assessment and care of ENT patients, as well as the training and supervision of less experienced colleagues. Appointees will be expected to participate in departmental governance, educational and academic activities and will be assigned an educational supervisor, who will also conduct their annual appraisal.
