
NHS Highland has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Dental Officer based in Grantown On Spey (Ian Charles Dental Clinic) to provide Public Dental and General Dental Services to the population of Badnenoch and Strathspey.
This post will have a focus on providing clinical leadership, development and clinical governance of the Public Dental Service (PDS) referral service, particularly assisting and participation in the triage of referrals into the PDS for wider dissemination.
Clinical experience of providing treatment to priority group patients and experience of providing routine general dental services is desirable. GDC registration as a dentist and successful listing with the Health Board are essential. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while having the ability to deal with difficult situations and challenging patient behaviours in a positive manner will be essential.
Grantown On Spey is a thriving market town located in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. It boasts great services, transport links and schooling and has unrivalled access to wonderful scenery and great leisure activities.
A driving licence is desirable.
