Coll has a population of approximately 170, but as a popular tourist destination this can increase. Coll is known for its spectacular natural scenery, beautiful beaches, flora, fauna and wildlife. Coll offers a wonderful local school. The Island of Coll is easily accessible to the mainland with regular ferry and air services.
If you want to be part of a remote and rural island community where you can deliver truly person-centred care and support, to individuals across their lifespan then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
The Community Nurse will lead on health and social care for individuals on Coll.
The Community Nurse is part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. Close working exists with the resident GP and social care partners and neighbouring islands
If you think you are the person that can rise to the challenge and enjoy the opportunity and a RN with DNSPQ preferred or evidence pod relevant ongoing professional development, then this is the post for you.
