Join our Intensive Support Team in our Learning Disability Service in Oxfordshire and become part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality psychological care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
This post is being advertised as 22.5-37.5 hours, depending on the candidate's preference, and would allow for the possibility of flexible working. In addition this post is being advertised as a Band 7 to 8a.
Main duties of the job
- Delivering specialist psychological assessments and interventions.
- Providing consultation and advice to multidisciplinary colleagues across the LD service.
- Delivering individual and group therapy.
- Supervising Assistant Psychologists and supporting Trainee Clinical Psychologists where appropriate.
- Contributing to service development, clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
- Promoting evidence-based, person-centred psychological practice across the team
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
