Key duties include monitoring residents' wellbeing, engaging in care plan management, and aiding with medication needs. You will also undertake staff supervisions, assist in their development, and act as a liaison with residents families and health professionals, ensuring efficient communication and escalation of concerns. The successful candidate will embody our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and accountability. Essential qualifications include an NVQ 3 in care and a minimum of 2 years in a similar environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
