ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll be responsible for attending to the diverse needs of residents to provide quality, person-centered care. Supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated care assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager will be a key part of your role. You are expected to assist the clinical team in specific areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, or care reviews. Respecting the dignity and preferences of the residents and contributing to a warm and welcoming environment are also essential responsibilities. We require a minimum NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
